Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your stay at La Maison du Mile-End ("the Property," "we," "us," or "our"). By making a reservation and staying at our establishment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

Reservations may be made through our website, third-party booking platforms, or in person at the Property. A valid credit card is required to secure all bookings. Full payment for your stay is due upon check-in. A security deposit of $100 CAD is required prior to check-in and must be placed on the same credit card used for the reservation. Please note that prepaid cards may be declined for security deposit purposes. All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without prior notice. Applicable taxes and fees will be added to your total. All payments made for reservations are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation where no charge or a partial charge applies, the amount paid will be retained as credit toward future reservations at the Property.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: • Cancellation within 14 days of arrival: Full charge of the entire reservation amount. • Cancellation within 30 days of arrival: 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged. • Cancellation 60 days or more before arrival: Full refund, no charge. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@maisonmileend.ca. The date of cancellation is determined by the date we receive your written notice.

Standard check-in time is from 4:00 PM (16:00) until 11:30 PM. Standard check-out time is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact us in advance to arrange alternative times.

All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner toward other guests, staff members, and the Property itself. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, including but not limited to harassment, excessive noise disturbance, or intentional damage to property, will result in immediate eviction from the premises without refund of any payments made.

Maximum room occupancy limits must be strictly adhered to as specified at the time of booking. Additional guests beyond the original reservation may be subject to supplementary charges and must be approved by management in advance.

Children of all ages are welcome at La Maison du Mile-End. Children under the age of 6 may stay free of charge when using existing bedding in the room. Please inform us of the number of children in your party at the time of booking.

La Maison du Mile-End does not permit pets on the premises. Service animals are always welcome and are exempt from this policy. Please notify us in advance if you will be accompanied by a service animal.

La Maison du Mile-End is a strictly non-smoking establishment. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas including guest rooms, common areas, and hallways. A cleaning fee will be charged to guests who smoke in non-designated areas to cover the cost of additional cleaning and remediation required.

The management of La Maison du Mile-End shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, damage to personal property, or injury sustained by guests during their stay, except where such loss or injury results from our negligence. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the Property, its furnishings, equipment, or any other assets during their stay. Charges for damages will be applied to the credit card on file.

La Maison du Mile-End is not responsible for items left behind after check-out. While we will make reasonable efforts to contact guests regarding forgotten items, we cannot guarantee their safekeeping. Should you wish to store luggage or belongings at the Property before check-in or after check-out, a storage fee of $25 CAD per day will apply. Prior arrangement is required.

La Maison du Mile-End reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. The most current version of these Terms will be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your stay at the Property shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
